Emma is Swedish and grew up in the Stockholm neighborhood of Sollentuna. She was born with brain trauma, resulting in dysarthria. Emma talks in hushed voices and with odd intonation, making it impossible for others to understand her. She also has trouble listening when people or computers talk too fast. Emma works as an independent photographer and is often hired via her extensive network that she has developed through the years. The rest of her duties are marriages or communions. Emma is also a regular volunteer at the nearby youth center.
