Tomasa lives in Barcelona, Spain, with her family, where she and her husband renovated a small house a few years ago. She has a master’s degree in law and works in a Barcelona consultancy company. Tomasa has been fully deaf since she was a teenager. It was painful for her at first to associate with others, but she has learned to control her deafness by lip-reading.
